Needless to say, huge spoilers are ahead, read at your own risk! The source has never failed to bring The Walking Dead fans accurate spoilers, but theres always a chance take all spoilers with a grain of salt!
The opening scene features a character we have all been wanting to see Morgan! Hes minding his own business, when an armed man holds him at gun point. The man has a W on his forehead, which Morgan asks about. The armed man talks about the backstory of the wolves (which I wont get into in order to keep this short). Showing some sweet moves, Morgan takes the man down. Another man jumps out and attacks Morgan, but Morgan handles himself just fine. Morgan ties them both up, locks them in a car, and blows the horn letting walkers take it away from there. Rick wakes up to Michonne watching him, some of the others enter. They want Rick to lie and tell the community what they want to hear, because, these people are children, and children like stories, Carol says. Rick wants to come up with a plan to take control of the community. Meanwhile, Maggie is trying to persuade Deanna to change her mind about Rick. This is the scene we saw in the promo, so I wont get too much into it. Sasha is just being Sasha, killing and burying walkers. Towards the end of the episode, Sasha pays Gabriel a visit to talk well jump back to this in a bit. Nicholas is acting suspicious and up to no good, so Glenn follows him. Glenn gets distracted and is shot in the shoulder. Father Gabriel has thoughts of suicide and kills a walker. He then cries in the middle of the road. Sorry, Gabe, we feel no sympathy for you. Outside of Alexandria, Daryl and Aaron are following a guy wearing a red poncho. Daryl triggers a trap and accidentally releases a lot of walkers. Well be seeing some pretty cool kills. They are trapped in the car, surrounded by walkers. As they are thinking of a way to get out alive, Morgan comes to the rescue! After they are safe, Aaron tells Morgan about Alexandria. Morgan tells Aaron that he has other plans, but is lost. Morgan then pulls out a map. Its the map that Abraham left Rick with, that reads, The new worlds gonna need Rick Grimes. Now remember, Daryl has never met Morgan. So when Daryl sees this, he just looks at Morgan without acknowledging the note. While visiting an unconscious Tara, Abraham and Eugene have some closure and apologize to each other. Gabriel then returns from his trip outside and forgets to properly close the gate. Nicholas and Glenn continue to fight and Glenn comes close to dying but hes fine! Rick spots the open gate and traces of a walker; he runs looking for it. Back to Sasha and Gabriel: Father G nastily talks about how Bob was dismembered, so Sasha pins him to the wall and points her gun at him. Maggie appears and stops her. The meeting has started without Glenn, Nicholas, or Rick (since they are all preoccupied at the moment). Deanna, Abraham, Maggie, Michonne, and Carol say their piece to the town about Rick. Two other members of the Wolves find the red poncho guy and trap him in the trap that Daryl and Aaron escaped from thanks to Morgan. Glenn decides to spare Nicholas life and drags him back to the community. Rick appears at the meeting, holding a walker. He explains how one way or another, walkers and evil in general will always find a way inside. You need to change now, Rick says. Pete interrupts his speech with, Youre not one of us! Pete is holding Michonnes katana and pushes Reg out of the way, slitting his throat by accident. A hysterical Deanna tells Rick to kill Pete, which Rick does without hesitation. Daryl, Aaron, and Morgan appear. Rick and Morgan exchange a look. End. Now that you know what will happen, what do you think? It looks like Norman Reedus and the other cast members made it sound like this episode would be a lot more exciting. Not that it doesnt sound action-packed, but from what they said in interviews, many fans thought that more blood would be shed. The Walking Dead Season 5 finale, Conquer airs on AMC this Sunday. From the American Civil War of 1861 to the recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, wars have always provided filmmakers with a fantastic theme to unleash their creativity. Depiction of conflicts, regardless of whether they are between two nations or two tribes, has always been a subject of fascination for the directors and audience alike.
The decade of 1920s marked the release of war films like 'The Big Parade' and 'What Price Glory?', and since then, the depiction of war on the silver screen has just got better. In fact, movies like 'Apocalypse Now', 'The Bridge on the River Kwai', 'Patton', 'Tora! Tora! Tora!', 'Go Tell the Spartans', 'Casualties of War' etc., are considered by many as the best war movies they have ever seen. Top 10 War Movies of All Time Over the last few decades, the concept of war movies has successfully created a niche for itself in a society which usually deplores bloodshed. If asked which has been the best war film ever made, every individual has an opinion of his own. Not to forget, all the classics featuring in different war movies list have a loyal fan following of their own. With so many contenders vying for the top spot, it's very difficult to determine which is the best. Each movie being different, has some or the other exceptional thing about it, and that makes the choice even more difficult. We explored the world of war movies, and came across some brilliant films which we arranged in the list of 10 best war films of all times - that was not really an easy task. Apocalypse Now (1979) "Apocalypse Now is the best Vietnam film, one of the greatest of all films, because it pushes beyond the others, into the dark places of the soul. It is not about war so much as about how war reveals truths we would be happy never to discover." - Roger Ebert (American film critic and screenwriter)Apocalypse Now, an American war film produced and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, is set in the backdrop of Vietnam War. Its storyline follows Benjamin L. Willard, the U.S. Army Captain played by Martin Sheen, in his quest to find and kill Colonel Walter E. Kurtz, played by Marlon Brando, who has now turned rogue and operates from a remote jungle in Cambodia. The three-hour version of Apocalypse Now screened at the 1979 Cannes Film Festival got a long thunderous applause alongside the prestigious Cannes Palme d'Or. The film was also nominated for the Academy Award and the Golden Globe, but it lost to Robert Benton's drama film Kramer vs. Kramer. The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957) "....it would be madness to miss the thoughtful and compelling The Bridge on the River Kwai. Its belief in humanity is as fresh and as devastating as it was nearly 50 years ago." - Jason Morgan for Filmcritic (2006)Based on French novelist Pierre Boulle's novel by the same name, The Bridge on the River Kwai is set in a Japanese POW camp in Thailand during World War II. The story revolves around the face-off between Lt. Colonel Nicholson, played by Alec Guinness, and POW camp commandant Colonel Saito, played by Sessue Hayakawa. It was this film which marked the beginning of director David Lean's style of long-winded storytelling, which continued in films to come. The Bridge on the River Kwai won as many as seven Academy Awards that year, including that for the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography and the Best Actor (Alec Guinness for his portrayal of Colonel Nicholson). It is also worth a mention that, this is one of those few films of that era which boast of universal critical acclaim. The Longest Day (1962) "Darryl F. Zanuck achieves a solid and stunning war epic. From personal vignettes to big battles, it details the first day of the D-Day Landings by the Allies on 6 June 1944." - Variety (American Weekly)The Longest Day, a 1962 war film depicting the D-Day invasion of Normandy, is based on the book titled 'The Longest Day' by Cornelius Ryan. It was directed by Ken Annakin, Andrew Marton, Gerd Oswald, Bernhard Wicki and Darryl F. Zanuck (who was also the producer of the movie). Like the long list of directors, the long list of stars of this movie included names like John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Robert Mitchum, Sean Connery and Curd Jurgens. The fact that it won the Academy Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Special Effects, speaks volumes about the realistic depiction of war in The Longest Day. With an estimated budget of around $10 million at that time, it was the most expensive black and white movie ever made. Patton (1970) "...to this day one of Hollywood's most compelling biographical war pictures." - James Berardinelli (American online film critic)A 1970 American biographical war film directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, Patton traced the life of U.S. General George S. Patton during World War II. More than the war, this was a film about a person who was known for his heroics and strategies, and his adamant behavior. While the film was critically acclaimed, and went on to win seven Academy Awards - including the Best Picture, it is George Scott's portrayal of General Patton that the movie is more often remembered for. It was this performance which earned Scott the Academy Award for the Best Actor, which he refused to accept - thus becoming the first actor to reject the same. Saving Private Ryan (1998) "Saving Private Ryan is a powerful experience. I'm sure a lot of people will weep during it. Spielberg knows how to make audiences weep better than any director since Chaplin in 'City Lights'." - Roger Ebert (American film critic and screenwriter)Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan depicted the invasion of Normandy in the World War II. It focused on the search for a paratrooper, Private First Class James Francis Ryan played by Matt Damon, who had gone missing in action in Normandy. The impressive list of stars featuring in this film included actors like Tom Hanks, Matt Damon, Jeremy Davies, Vin Diesel and Tom Sizemore. It received a warm reception by the critics, for its realistic battle scenes and noteworthy performances by its ensemble cast. Saving Private Ryan was nominated for 11 Academy Awards, from which it won the award for the Best Cinematography, Best Sound, Best Sound Editing, Best Editing and Best Director. Platoon (1986) ".....a movie that regards combat from ground level, from the infantryman's point of view, and it does not make war look like fun." - Roger Ebert (American film critic and screenwriter)Released in 1986, Platoon was the first of director Oliver Stone's Vietnam war films trilogy - and was eventually followed by Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and Heaven & Earth (1993). Its star cast included some of the big names like Tom Berenger, Willem Dafoe and Charlie Sheen. The film followed Chris Taylor, played by Charlie Sheen, on his tour of duty in Vietnam. Platoon received mix response, in form of grand critical acclamation as well as denouncing for its presentation of violence in the Vietnam War. The movie bagged several prominent awards, including the Academy Award for Best Picture at 1986 Awards and Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture. The Hurt Locker (2008) "A first-rate action thriller, a vivid evocation of urban warfare in Iraq, a penetrating study of heroism and a showcase for austere technique, terse writing and a trio of brilliant performances." - Joe Morgenstern (The Wall Street Journal)One of the more recent American war films, The Hurt Locker followed the story of three-man bomb disposal team, played by Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie and Brian Geraghty, in action during the Iraq War. The Hurt Locker was directed by Kathryn Bigelow, who became the first woman to win the Academy Award for Best Director when she won the coveted Award for this film. The film also went on to bag the honors in five more categories, including the Academy Award for the Best Picture, taking its tally to six Oscars. It was a phenomenal success, considering that The Hurt Locker was pitched against the much-touted Avatar by James Cameroon. Paths of Glory (1957) "To a certain extent, this forthright picture has the impact of hard reality, mainly because its frank avowal of agonizing, uncompensated injustice is pursued to the bitter, tragic end." - Bosley Crowther (The New York Times)An anti-war film, Paths of Glory was based on Humphrey Cobb's 1935 novel by the same name. It narrated the story of Colonel Dax, played by Kirk Douglas, who, in his capacity as the commanding officer in the French army, refuses to continue a suicidal attack in World War I, and therefore has to face a court-martial. Though the film was not a huge box-office success, it did earn universal critical acclaim for director Stanley Kubrick. Paths of Glory was nominated at the BAFTA for the Best Film category that year, wherein it lost to David Lean's The Bridge on the River Kwai. The Thin Red Line (1998) "The Thin Red Line is a movie about creation growing out of destruction, about love where you'd least expect to find it and about angels - especially the fallen kind - who just happen to be men." - Michael O'Sullivan (Washington Post)The Thin Red Line is an American war film, directed by Terrence Malick, which revolves around the United States forces in action in the Battle of Mount Austen in World War II. The film marked Malick's return to the silver screen after a gap of 20 years. Its star cast included some of the big names from Hollywood, including Sean Penn, Adrien Brody, George Clooney, John Cusack and John Travolta. Even though The Thin Red Line was not able to win an Academy Award, and that despite being nominated in seven categories, it continues to be one of the best war films ever made. Black Hawk Down (2001) "...ambitious, sumptuously framed, and frenetic, Black Hawk Down is nonetheless a rare find of a war movie which dares to turn genre convention on its head." - Empire (film magazine)Undoubtedly one of the best war movies of the 21st century, Black Hawk Down was directed by Ridley Scott and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, along with Scott. The movie, based on Mark Bowden's novel by the same name, depicts the Battle of Mogadishu - the U.S. efforts to capture the Somali warlord, Mohamed Farrah Aidid, and how their plans fall apart when they are met with unexpected resistance. Starring Josh Hartnett, Tom Sizemore, Ewan McGregor and Eric Bana, the Black Hawk Dawn was a critical as well as a commercial success, grossing $179,823 on the first weekend of its release, and winning the Academy Award for Best Editing and Best Sound for that year. Bonus: Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima (2006) In 2006, director Clint Eastwood pulled off an unusual feat by releasing two war films which were the companion pieces (other halves) of each other. The films depicted the Battle for Iwo Jima from the perspective of two nations involved; 'Flags of Our Fathers' was made from the American point of view and 'Letters from Iwo Jima' from the Japanese point of view. While both the movies were critically acclaimed, Letters from Iwo Jima performed better than its American companion in terms box-office collections. It also won the Academy Award for Best Sound Editing and Golden Globe for the Best Foreign Language Film. Other than these masterpieces, there also exist several war films which deserve a mention for the brilliant work of art that they are. These include Enemy At The Gates (2000), Pearl Harbor (2001), The Patriot (2001), Full Metal Jacket (1987), and so on. There exist films like the Schindler's List (1993) and The Deer Hunter (1978) which often feature in different lists of best war films, but don't belong to the 'war film' genre specifically - even though they do have a war in the backdrop. These were the movies which made a difference owing to their plot, direction, ensemble star cast, realistic depiction of battles, deafening background score, and so on. With war as the subject, half the battle is already won for the director; he simply has to depict the horror of the war and the grief that follows - easier said than done. Disclaimer: This was purely a list of the best war movies according to us, and we are very well aware of the fact that it might not go down well with everybody. You can share your views, or contribute by rearranging this list/creating your own list of the best war films ever made, and posting it in form of comments. We would surely take a note of your suggestion when we update this list the next time. LONDON, United Kingdom In todays digitally driven world, good video content can spread like wild fire, as consumers share it through social media and pass videos to friends and followers. Youtube receives more than 1 billion unique visitors every month, with daily video views growing 60 percent year-on-year. By 2019, video will account for 80 percent all consumer Internet traffic, according to research by US technology company Cisco.
But for years, the fashion industry has failed to fulfil the potential of fashion films, prioritising print campaigns and leaving video content as an afterthought; from montages of edited, behind-the-scenes footage to last minute efforts made with the leftover marketing budget. Looking at this seasons selection of fashion films, you can see the industry beginning to wake up brands have experimented with bold filmic styles, humorous storylines and star-studded casts. But while some, like Gucci and Miu Miu, may have turned to sophisticated cinematic techniques to bring a collection to life capturing the languid mood of their campaigns, not just their clothes theystill fell back on the predictable format of film versions of their print content. Others, such Balmain x H&M and Tom Ford, hired social media stars and crafted mock-music videos an efficient, but unimaginative play to woo millennial audiences. The most innovative films blended humour, narrative and a strong aesthetic to create witty, often-surreal vignettes that riff on modern society and send up the luxury fashion consumer. Take this seasons top two choices, Kenzos Here Now, a darkly comic, highly-stylised short documenting the highs and lows of adolescence; and Balenciagas Wes Anderson-inspired Une Incroyable Excuse, which serves as a showcase for the brands accessories. These films stand out because they bring a new dimension to the brands campaign, and could never be accused of tokenism. But, while the diverse collection below is evidence of a number of brands trying to make sense of the medium, too many continue to leave the potential of video untapped. Advancements in video are coming, but at a creeping pace. Perhaps this seasons best offerings will inspire even greater experimentation for Spring/Summer 2016. Now without further ado, sit back and enjoy our selection of The Top 10 Fashion Films of the Season. And dont forget to let us know which ones you like best. 1. "Here Now" by Gregg Araki for Kenzo In this delightful, blackly comic short, Here Now, Kenzo have teamed up with Gregg Araki, director of the cult 1990s Teenage Apocalypse Trilogy. Its not the first time the brand has worked with some of the film industrys most innovative figures (previous collaborators include David Lynch and Spike Jonze) this season the result is a stylish and surreal portrait of the trials and tribulations of high school relationships. Set in a diner and starring emerging actors Avan Jogia, Grace Victoria Cox and Jacob Artist as teenagers all dealing with romance, the six-minute short is the longest on BoFs list. Seen through the lens of Arakis distinct Californian aesthetic, and full of his signature bizarre moments including a couple making out while eating a cheeseburger and a teenage girl dressed as a nun Here Now is dark, messy and incredibly well-dressed. 2. "Une Incroyable Excuse" by Danny Sangra for Balenciaga and MyTheresa.com Filmed in an iconic Parisian haunt the Caviar Kaspia restaurant and directed by Danny Sangra, Balenciagas video is a glamorous, tongue-in-cheek take on the fashion industry, supported by a lively soundtrack from Beethoven. It is also the first foray into film by German e-commerce company My Theresa, Balenciagas collaborator on the project. Director Sangra has taken inspiration from directors such as Wes Anderson, masterfully blending ordinary emotions with extraordinary circumstances in the film as two models (Marie Trestef and Ines Terlet) bicker over their friend (played by Jessica Cressy) Pollys late arrival to brunch, only for her to reveal the reason for her delay she had lost her keys in the alternative universe hidden in her handbag. Witty and wonderfully ironic, this elegantly shot video uses humour to elevate its story above the typical campaign, while serving as an elegant showcase for the brands accessories collection all of which was, naturally, immediately shoppable through My Theresas website. 3. Miu Miu by Gordon Von Steiner An accompaniment to Miu Miu and Steven Meisels Autumn/Winter 2015 print campaign, and sharing its title, Subjective Reality, this video was shot in a similarly grainy style, tracking a series of models around the streets of New Yorks East Village and Brooklyn. It was directed by Gordon von Steiner, one of the industrys most precocious and sought-after film talents, and follows models Madison Brown, Hailey Gates and Mia Goth as they float restlessly about the city. Featuring a compelling jazz infused soundtrack, the short reveals an otherworldly aspect to the city and beautifully captures the languid, discordant modernity of Miu Mius period-inspired collection. 4. Rolling with Emilio Pucci by Edward Housden This five-minute short is the brands first fashion film since Massimo Giorgettis appointment as creative director in March earlier this year, and showcases the designers debut collection for the label. Without a single word of dialogue, the film follows model and some-time skater Martha-Rose Redding as she pits her boarding skills against two teenage boys. Shot in a seemingly abandoned skate park, surrounded by rich, lush forest, the films engrossing narrative is suggestive and mysterious. The real stars of the video, however, are the ornately decorated skateboards, that were created as part of the brands collaboration with skateboard company cal and done up in Puccis signature prints. 5. Gucci: The Directors Cut by Glen Luchford Following an unidentified guest as she explores a mysterious, mid-day dance party that has sprung up in an ornate Italian manor, Glen Luchfords directors cut of Guccis 2016 cruise collection is strangely mesmerising and not just because of its trance-infused soundtrack. The film, which stars Allie Barrett, Rhiannon McConnel, Julita Formella and Tami Williams, feels hazy and carefree, capturing the youthful, unconcerned spirit of newly appointed creative director Alessandro Micheles Gucci woman, as the models dance and twist, blissfully unaware of the sun drenched vistas in a glimpsed outside world. 6. Tom Ford by Nick Knight This season, Tom Ford eschewed a traditional catwalk presentation in favour of an entirely different format. The designer debuted his Spring/Summer 2016 collection in a Soul Train-inspired video, starring Lady Gaga who struts and gallivants in a variety of Tom Ford ensembles, among a throng of models, including Mica Arga, Lexi Boling, Kayla Scott, Xiao Wen Ju and Lucky Blue Smith. The group dances exuberantly to a new Gaga and Nile Rodgers version of Chics I Want Your Love, produced by Riot City. Instead of having a traditional show this season, I decided to try something new. I wanted to present a collection in a cinematic way that was designed from its inception to be presented online, Ford told press prior to the films release. 7. Delpozo by Pablo Maestres In this visually accomplished film, directed by Pablo Maestres, fresh-faced, doll-like model Mia Gruenwald pursues a bouncing ball in La Muralla Roja, a colourful dreamland off the Alicante region of Spain, which translates in Spanish to The Red Wall. Gruenwald ambles through a labyrinth of stairs until she finds herself inexplicably drawn to a mysterious Roman bust, which meets an ill fate a plot twist aptly suited for the Spanish brand, which has been injected with a new youthful, quirky and romantic aesthetic since Josep Font became creative director in 2012. 8. "Meet The Wrestlers of the Pink Lake, Senegal" by Grace Wales Bonner for i-D One of Britains brightest new talents, English-Jamaican menswear designer Grace Wales Bonner travelled to Africas west coast in search of the countrys prized fighter. Directed by Harley Weir and styled by Julia Sarr-Jamois, the film delves deep into the world of Senegalese wrestling, where men wearing Wales Bonners Ebonics collection douse themselves in lucky goats milk, chew on string to counteract the unlucky tongue and rise at the crack of dawn to train with fellow compatriots down by the Pink Lake of Senegal. We expect no less from the Central Saint Martins graduate, whose unique perspective and interest in black identity and culture has set her apart, a theme the designer continues to explore through her work. 9. Balmain x H&M Days before the Balmain x H&M designer collaboration was due to drop in stores, H&M unveiled a flashy music video to accompany the 109-piece collection, designed by creative director Olivier Rousteing. Set to dance floor-ready track Walk For Me by Ferdinand & Vaz, model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner strikes poses inside a roving, futuristic subway car (the same car that can be seen in the backdrop of the brands campaign print ads) and shakes her hips to a set of choreographed dance moves alongside what appear to be professional dancers all of whom are dressed in plenty of Balmains signature whipstitches and beading. The video joins a long list of hype-builders surrounding the collaboration, including Rousteings gaggle of supermodel soldiers who have teased and touted the collection across social media and on the red carpet. 10. Alexander Wang Japanese dance duo Aya Sato and Bambi (together known as AyaBambi) have become an Internet sensation by fusing the New York-born art of Voguing with a kawaii cybergoth collar-and-platforms look. Theyve vogued for Hussein Chalayan and starred in Madonnas Bitch Im Madonna music video featuring Nicki Minaj. Now, the latest designer to tap the vogueing queens is Alexander Wang. Filmed in black and white, the dancers throw hyper-synchronised shapes on the set of the Alexander Wang Autumn/Winter 2015 ready-to-wear campaign, soundtracked by distorted electronic beats. In the print campaign, Ayabambi strike a pose alongside a chainmail wearing girl gang of models, including Anna Ewers, Molly Blair, Binx Walton, Lexi Boling and Hanne Gaby Odiele. Few can doubt that the gaming industry made great progress in the last century. Early games were 2D with limited color. Then great titles of the 1990s included fine 3D games such as Mario 64, which added an extra dimension. Whether 2D or 3D these were some of the best titles of the last century. Super Mario Bros Super Mario Bros was the first Mario platform title released on the NES. Super Mario Bros had greater impact than most, and started the Mario franchise that goes strong to this day. Essentially, it was a 2D platform game where Mario ran and jumped through the various levels en-route to Bowser's Castle to rescue Princess Peach. It was a big hit on the NES and helped establish the console. Pac Man Pac Man was perhaps the most influential arcade game of its time. Namco's classic soon became the arcade game of choice, before being ported over to consoles such as the Atari 2600 where it was a big hit. It is listed in the Guinness records as the most successful arcade game. Many further Pac Man titles have also since been released, which have expanded on the franchise. Pac Man has also featured in an animated series, and in music with albums such as 'Pac-Man Fever' reaching as high as number nine on the charts. Tetris The Russian Pajitnov designed Tetris. Early versions appeared on the IBM PC, before being discovered by the West and Spectrum Holybyte that gained early rights to the game. Players were soon hooked by the immersive gameplay, and Tetris fever gained momentum as a new software blockbuster. However, Nintendo's Game Boy version is considered one of the best Tetris games that ideally suited the console with multiple millions sold. There have also been many variations of Tetris, which have had new features and options added. Mario 64 Before this, Mario had been entirely 2D. Of course, they were still great games; but Mario 64 on the N64 added a new dimension to the series. Mario games had 3D graphics and levels for the first time. Some new and exciting gameplay elements were also included for this Mario title, with Mario collecting stars to progress through the castle. Unlike previous additions to the series, Mario 64 was not particularly linear as players could play through the various levels included in variable order. Many consider Mario 64 one of the finest titles. Half-Life Half-Life was a first-person shooter that added a new dimension to the genre. Half-Life had a compelling plot and story line set in the Black Mesa research facility, and was one of the first to make use of scripted scenes throughout. It became one of the top-selling PC titles, and was also ported to consoles such as the PlayStation 2. The Legend of Zelda Zelda games were also some of the best around. First released on the NES in the 1980s, the game soon established itself as one of Nintendo's top titles. The early versions were essentially 2D top-down, but then this changed with the N64 Zelda games that were 3D. Undoubtedly, Zelda titles were the best RPG games that effectively mixed action with the role play element. It is difficult to say which Zelda was the best in the series; however, the first Zelda game on the N64 impressed many fans.
